First class distinction in the third edition of "Małopolska Quality Award" held under the patronage of The Marshal of the Małopolska Province.
Stanisław Gągała, Chairman of Gold Drop and the Regional Association of Entrepreneurs has received the statuette and the title of “Strong People of Małopolska 2013”. Readers of “Gazeta Krakowska” chose from among 25 candidates, and decided who to award with the title. The statuettes were handed by Wojciech Harpuła, Chief Editor of Gazeta Krakowska, who, on behalf of himself and the whole editorial staff, congratulated all the winners. “These are people who derive their strength from the community that surrounds them, but without their passion, commitment and skills this community would be much poorer” – he stressed.
When accepting the statuette, Mr. Gągała thanked Gazeta Krakowska for the nomination and all those who voted for him. “This is an award for the whole entrepreneurship of Limanowa, which shows that it is worth to change Małopolska region – said Stanisław Gągała.
Gold Drop was granted the Małopolska Business Award statue in the category of medium-sized enterprises. Marek Sowa, Voivodeship Marshal, formally presented the awards during the Annual Business in Małopolska Meeting. The award is to inspire enterprise development, promote pro-investment approach and increase company competitiveness.Candidates for awards granted in the category of small, medium and large-sized enterprises can be put forward by entrepreneurs, institutions and economic organisations. Winners are selected by the Małopolska Economic Council composed of business practitioners and professors of the largest institutions of higher education in Małopolska. The Council acts as a consultation and advisory body for the Voivodeship Executive Board. Małopolska laureates are then put forward by the Marshal for the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland.
Gold Drop was awarded the title of "The Company that Drives Sądecczyzna Economy". The diploma was officially presented to Stanisław Całka, Vice-President, by the Marshal Marek Sowa on 27th December 2013 in the Małopolska Culture Centre in Nowy Sącz. A list for the ranking is prepared on the basis of data obtained from a generally accessible base of information on economic entities published by Dobry Tygodnik Sądecki. The ranking was prepared by DOBRE Publishing House and the Pomyśl o Przyszłości (Think About the Future) foundation from Nowy Sącz.
