On 28 November 2022, the President of the Management Board Stanisław Gągała received the Medal of the Centenary of Regained Independence by way of the decision of the President of the Republic of Poland.
Established in 2018 to celebrate the centenary of the rebirth of the Polish State, the medal was presented in the course of the National Celebrations of the Centenary of Regaining Independence by the Republic of Poland from 2018 to 2022 to those who had contributed to building and strengthening the sovereignty, independence, cultural identity and material prosperity of the Republic of Poland.
The Deputy Governor of Lesser Poland Mateusz Mołodziński hosted the medal awarding ceremony during the 23rd session of the Limanowa Poviat Council. Ceremonial speeches addressed to President Gągała were delivered by the Deputy Governor of Lesser Poland, Mateusz Mołodziński, and MP for the Polish Parliament Urszula Nowogórska. On behalf of the Limanowa District Council, a special congratulatory letter was handed over by the Limanowa Starost Mieczysław Uryga.
It is important to emphasise that the reasons for granting this honourable award included multiple years of professional and social work, support for entrepreneurship, contributions to the development of the local economy and impact said undertakings had had on the community of the Limanowa region and the country as a whole. Furthermore, the speakers emphasised President Gągała's personal contributions to turning Gold Drop into a company that would fulfil standards of a modern enterprise.
