Chairman of the Board Stanisław Gągała named “2016 Personality of the Year” in the Business category by Gazeta Krakowska. The aim of Gazeta Krakowska is to recognize, by means of a popularity contest, the achievements of unusual, innovative and interesting people. Award winners are selected from those who have achieved success thanks to tirelessly pursuing set goals. In the Business category, one of the nomination criteria was activities on behalf of the local community, contributing to decrease in unemployment and development of entrepreneurship in the region. The 2016 Personality of the Year title specifically emphasises activities conducted in the previous year or continued for a number of years. The formal award gala was held at 3 March 2017 in the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Cracow.

The prize is a way of promoting ethical business practices by The Employers Union of Małopolska LEWIATAN. Awards in the “Enterprises” category are given to businesses that „significantly contributed to the development of entrepreneurship and innovation, offer high quality products and services and run their business according to law to build the Polish entrepreneurship following the best standards.”
