Gold Drop Honoured with Title of 2014 Charity Leader
For several years Dziennik Polski daily newspaper has been organizing a Leader of Małopolska Region plebiscite. Companies that compete for the title are evaluated by the competition jury and Internet users. The Charity Leader is one of the categories and Gold Drop is this year's prize winner. The plebiscite shows that in Poland there are many companies that successfully combine business and social activities. They know that not only do they have to provide employment but should also meet needs of the community they live in. It is worth emphasising that offering help is no longer limited to big companies. More and more often also small and medium-sized companies engage in such activities. The prize is a big thank you to sponsors who have supported non-governmental organizations.
The formal gala of the competition took place during the Third Edition of Forum for Małopolska Region Companies at the end of May this year. The CEO, Stanisław Gągała, was presented with a statue and a letter of appreciation by the Małopolska Province Marshal, Marek Sowa, for “great heart open to hear the voice of these in need, for enormous financial and material support provided to inhabitants of Limanowa and Małopolska region for many years”.
