Gold Drop is a member of the GS1 Poland Foundation, an organization responsible for barcode standards. It is the only institution authorized to accept companies from Poland and the EU into the GS1 System and to grant them permission to use GS1 codes.
Wiesław Kłuś, Supply Chain Director, representing Gold Drop, participates in the Foundation Council's activities, which are responsible for the proper functioning of the standardized data system contained in product barcodes.
The GS1 Foundation Council organizes meetings in various regions of Poland. This time, the July conference was held in Limanowa, where participants had the opportunity to tour Gold Drop’s production and warehouse facilities.
President Stanisław Gągała introduced visitors to the company's history, its operations, and future plans. Among the priorities are the continuous modernization of the production and product base, as well as adapting the company to ESG requirements.
