28th Małopolska Puzzle-Solving Championshipss

In May this year, Bochnia was the venue for the 28th Małopolska Puzzle-Solving Championships, which brought together 33 well-known cruciverbalists from across the country.


The tournament, which has been organised for 28 years by the Bochnia Chess Club "Omnibus" and the Association "Projekt Bochnia", was held with the financial support of the Marshal's Office, the Bochnia County, the Bochnia City Hall, the Gold Drop company from Limanowa, Mr Stanisław Całka from Łapczyca, the Bochnia Salt Mine and the REGIS publishing house - Anita and Paweł Bielak - Łapczyca. For 90 minutes, the participants in the Championship solved a set of tasks consisting of 26 different puzzle forms, whose authors were Tadeusz Bembenik from Łapczyca, Stanisław Bukowiec from Bochnia. Leszek Posyniak from Niepołomice, Józef Prażuch from Sosnowiec and Czesław Żygłowicz from Dębica. During the break, the cruciverbalists, under the guidance of Halina Ujejska, President of the Project Bochnia Association, explored the historical and historic sites of Bochnia.
