Stanisław Gągała, the Board President, received the Silver Statuette of Cyrenejczyk (Simon of Cyrene) from the Bishop Władysław Bobowski during the 14th Forum of the Physically Disabled of the Diocese of Tarnów, held in the Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows in Limanowa. The award is given by the chapter appointed by the “Cyrenejczyk” Catholic Association of the Friends of the Physically Disabled to thank institutions or persons who are associated with the movement of the physically disabled or provide financial or in-kind support for the movement. Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for Mr Stanisław Gągała, the President of the Board, and Wiesław Żółtowski, the Chief Executive Officer.This high state decoration was conferred at the Limanowa Entrepreneurship Gala by the President of the Republic of Poland, pursuant to the decision to award orders, for outstanding contribution to the development of Polish entrepreneurship and for social and charitable activities. The solemn decoration was performed by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the Deputy Governor of the Małopolska Province, Andrzej Harężlak. (November 2012)
The Małopolska Tourism Chamber has granted President Stanisław Gągała the “Parzenica 2012” honorary award. The award is given in several categories including special achievements for the promotion and development of tourism in the Małopolska region. The Honorary Patron of the programme was Marek Sowa, Marshal of the Małopolska Province. The justification for the award describes the winner’s contribution as: “supporting activities that promote and aid the development of tourism in Małopolska by co-funding the International Extreme Walking Marathon KIERAT. The honorary award was presented to the winner by Ryszard Sikora, President of the Chamber, during an award gala.
